ECW Holy Fish Winners Spring 2018

ECW Holy Fish Winners Spring 2018 - Ridgeland, St Columb’s won Holy Fish
for having the most participants at ECW spring conference.
(Only by the time we were able to take pictures
at closing chapel, four members had had to leave early.
However, they had 11 people there!). Good job, ladies!

                              Anoint Us with Your Grace

Note from presenter, Stacy Wills: As you can see, the painting went in a bit
of a different direction...which is not unusual with the “intentional creativity”
process.

I was very much inspired by the ECW prayer and it is written on
the scroll in the upper left hand corner. The underpainting, especially what
was added by the women at the conference, also served as inspiration.
Two phrases I found painted on the canvas that also guided me were:
“Thanks be to God” and “Live into God’s Dream.”

The overall painting is reflective of my experience of being with you all...
claiming (or reclaiming)creativity as our birthright, releasing our colors
into the world, creating public sacred spaces, allowing God’s love and
blessings to flow through us to those in need, and to tend our piece of
the red thread - what is uniquely ours to cause and create in this life.

The title, “Anoint Us with Your Grace,” comes from the ECW prayer.
(And her name is Grace.)

Again, I thank you for the opportunity to come and share with you all.
It was truly one of the most profound and humbling experiences that
I have ever had and one I will never forget.

May abundant blessings be yours,
Stacy
