Children at Risk Project

In late 1997 four Bishops (2 Catholic, 1 Episcopal, and 1 Methodist) urged all people of faith to release the children in Mississippi from the crises which surround them. In January of 1998, the ECW Board established our Children at Risk Fund to assist groups in need that help these children. Note: A child at risk may be defined as one who is lacking social, educational, economical, or emotional support; one who is disabled, or suffered abuse. Every child is a potential child at risk.

This project is funded through donations and fund raisers. Please consider supporting us so we may continue to support programs connected with the Episcopal Church in Mississippi.

All contributions and requests should be sent to:

Please pray daily with us for the care of children:

Almighty God, heavenly Father, you have blessed us with the joy and care of children. Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as we bring them up, that we may teach them to love whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen (BCP)
